Baltimore Checkerspot is a butterfly I have wanted to see for some time. When I saw it in a butterfly ID book it looked so pretty I just wanted to see one. Where I went today wasn't really local. It required an hour drive, but it was straightforward. I wanted to see the butterfly so I went after work. It was a short event. I walked around the field for a couple hours with Laurie then went home after the afternoon rush.
