My friend Daphne got the best birthday present ever

My friend Daphne celebrated her birthday

yesterday the same way she does every other day, she went fishing. Daphne, is as obsessed with fishing as anyone I know. She puts in her time and is well respected by every fisherman that knows her.

So yesterday Daphne did what she does best, she fished. It seemed as though the fishing gods were smiling on her and friend Dave Fewster. That got into some real large stripers.

Daphne caught a 52 inch striper.Talk about a birthday present! It gets better, although the 52 inch striper was the biggest, they caught multiple fish 30-40 pounds. As she said, "it was an epic day, we were throwing back 30 pounders like they were schoolies"

As for the big fish of 52 inches, it was also released. As a matter of fact, they were so concerned with releasing it unharmed, they rushed pictures to get it back in the water.
